    It will do

    Fabric feels cheap, hems look messy. I followed the size guide, and the top half is way too big, but the bottom half is too snug and rides up. Getting it tailored will be more feasible than returning for another size that would also need to be tailored. Usually, I have much better luck and consistency with Lulus!

    Good quality dress, fit is too loose

    Gorgeous dress, fits a little loose. I am shorter and more muscular and the tie around the neck is too long. With some minor adjustments, this dress will work great for my photos.

    Not quite for me

    I really liked the design of the dress and how it looked on the model but the material was cheap and the dress did not sit on my body as expected. I have an athletic build with a small waist and larger thighs/glutes. There was too much fabric around the waist and not enough room around the hips and butt (if you have these proportions, this dress won't work unless you take in the waist).     Love it overall and think it is worth it!

    Fit is a little large around my bust on the sides, but think it will be ok even without tailoring. Otherwise the material is super comfortable, the slit makes it feel more sensual, and as usual for Lulu's it has great length for my height. Hoping it will be perfect for one of my best friends weddings this fall.

    Black Halter Maxi Dress
