way small

xl is very deceiving, it's a sz 14...

Just not quite right.
The dress was super cute and I got a lot of compliments buuut it wasn't really sewn quite right. In between the elastic sewn buttons, the dress gapped. Nothing a little tape couldn't fix. But the dress continuously turned on my body all night. Like the stitching was crooked. It was incredibly annoying but it still was cute. I want to love this dress!
I ordered a medium, and the length was great, but I could barely button it without gapping at waist and bust. Ordered a large- longer but same fit at waist and bust. Gorgeous dress if you don't sit down!
It's too late - I ripped off the tags and I'm keeping it. The dress looks beautiful and flattering everywhere...until you sit down. The buttons suddenly gape and you can see skin if you're not carefully readjusting. It made me very self conscious. I'd wear this out to standing only events :) I believe my size it true because if I went larger, it wouldn't be flattering and too baggy. Wanted to love this dress
Truth is I 100% love this dress. Problem is I don't have the body type for it. This dress is made for someone with no hips and no bust. The buttons because of the elastic just pull in all the wrong places. I think if the buttons were a detail and not functional and the dress had a zipper it would suit more people. Cool dress- will be peppy when wearing it
I'm pleased with this dress. The good- I'm 5'6.5" and often dresses need to be hemmed, which doesn't work on a bottom detail dress like this one- but in mid rise heels this dress isn't too long! The fabric is soft and doesn't wrinkle easily. The bad- this dress has a bit of a wide fit through the middle making it a tad shapeless on me. Beautiful dress

Not for petite
Overall it's a really pretty dress. However, it was too long on me and tight around my rib cage.
