Gaping at buttons
This dress looks exactly as pictured, but I don't think this dress is made for people with an hourglass shape. There's no way I could have worn this without taping down the fabric between every button from the top to my hips, and I don't believe it was a sizing issue. The buttons are small with stretchy attachments and the fabric itself is stretchy, so they pull apart at every slight curve. I am generally a M/L (size 10) in any brand clothing. I... Quality not as expected
This is such a cute dress! I love the colors and print but I'm slightly disappointed in the quality of the product. The buttons are elastic, so it gives room to breathe, but Lulus didn't include a fabric "flap" at the buttons so that way skin wouldn't peak through. I plan on keeping this dress because it's so cute, but hopefully, they take that into consideration when making dresses in the future.Response from Lulus.com: Hello Janine! Gorgeous colors
This dress makes me feel like going to a beautiful tropical paradise! Which will sadly have to wait until after this virus has run its course. But this dress is absolutely stunning. I put runs large, but that's because it's a bit long. The buttons pucker a bit due to the weight, but I found if I belt it and then pull the fabric over the belt to hide it, it fixes all my problems (length and buttons). Needs a slip!
I love this dress; it's super cute, very bright, and fun! BUT, you need to wear something underneath! Since the buttons go all the way down, when you walk, sit, or do basically anything, there is a gap where you can see right through to your underwear and legs. As long as you have on a slip or something like that it's fine or if you don't care about that, rock on - wear it without one! This dress is gorgeous. I was a little skeptical when ordering, but I'm so glad that I did. This dress is stunning and SO fun! It will definitely be one of my Summer staples!
