Cute fall nails that work in warmer weather, too? Don’t mind if I do! Mixing mustard yellow with bubblegum pink and lavender blends both summer and autumn hues, creating the perfect transitional color palette. The result: pretty stripe nails for any season. (You can really never go wrong with stripes, amirite?)

This unexpected palette on a nude nail is an adorable play on a striped manicure that looks elegant and detailed while remaining simple to DIY! All you need is plenty of nail art tape (and something to watch on TV while waiting for the sheer base coats to dry).
Supplies:
- Sheer nail polish (I used OPI’s Bubble Bath)
- Pink nail polish (I used Butter London’s Kerfuffle)
- Lavender nail polish (I used Butter London’s Molly Coddled)
- Mustard yellow nail polish (I used Butter London’s East End)
- Nail striping tape
- Top coat (I used Essie’s Gel Setter)
Instructions
- Paint 2-3 coats of OPI bubble bath, or your favorite sheer nail polish. Let completely dry for 30 minutes.
- Using nail art tape, add 3 diagonally placed pieces on each nail and press firmly to create a stencil for your stripes.
- Quickly paint the stripes in pink, mustard, and lavender as shown, and gently remove the nail art tape as quickly as possible after painting. Don’t forget to top with your favorite top coat!
