When I googled black tie wedding guest dress, this lovely dress populated. I ordered it in Medium and Large because I wasn't sure. The Large was the correct size for me. It was too long; I am 5'3" so I had to have it tailored. I probably could have had it taken in a little bit to pull me in around the bustline at the zipper, but I didn't, and it still worked well.
